Today, educator and community leader Sonja Denn officially announced her DFL candidacy for the Minnesota House of Representatives, seat 22A.
“I’m running because the families of District 22 deserve a representative who understands their daily challenges — from the cost of healthcare to the quality of our public schools,” said Denn. “I’ve spent my career in the classroom and in our community, and I’m ready to bring that experience to the State Capitol.”
Denn, a 15-year public school educator and founder of the House 22A Neighborhood Alliance, is running on the DFL ticket with a platform focused on affordable healthcare, fully funded public schools, economic opportunity, and environmental stewardship.
“This campaign isn’t about me — it’s about us,” Denn continued. “Together, we can build a district where every family has what they need to thrive.”
The campaign is seeking volunteers and grassroots donations to build a people-powered movement in House 22A.
